Job Title: Sr Salesforce Developer
Location: 100% onsite in Irvine, CA

Compensation: W2 only $135,000 to $175,000 DOE

Overview:
We're seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team in a multi-campus academic environment. This role is for a hands-on developer who thrives on building scalable, efficient Salesforce solutions. You'll be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying custom applications and integrations that support critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure Salesforce using Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, and formula fields to meet business requirements.
- Implement and manage security models including roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- Build and maintain Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) portals to enhance user engagement and collaboration.
- Develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce tools.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware to ensure seamless data flow.
- Write efficient, bulk-safe Apex triggers and classes, following best practices for performance and scalability.
- Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all development work.
- Provide on-call support as part of a rotation, resolving production issues quickly and effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions.
- Familiarity with Agentforce or similar AI-enhanced platforms is a plus, especially for automation and intelligent workflows.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Deep experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Web Components.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and participate in off-hours support as needed.
